Privacy Policy

The short version

PurePath does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any of your personal data. There is no account to create, no server to sync with, and no analytics running in the background. Everything you enter into PurePath stays on your device, under your control, until you delete it.

What data PurePath handles — and where it lives

PurePath stores the following only on your device, using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData), protected by your device's built-in encryption:

• Your recovery start date, streak history, and milestone progress
• Your self-reflection assessment responses
• Your relapse prevention plan, triggers, and if-then rules
• Slip debrief notes you choose to write
• App settings and preferences

None of this information ever leaves your phone. Vectis Innovation Labs has no technical ability to access it.

Screen Time and content blocking

PurePath's content shield is built on Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks. By Apple's design, the list of apps and websites you choose to block is held in opaque tokens that no third party — including PurePath and Vectis Innovation Labs — can read, decode, or transmit. We never see what you block, what you browse, or when the shield activates.

Accountability partner codes

If you enable the optional accountability partner lock, your partner's unlock code is converted into a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256) before being stored on your device. The original code is never saved anywhere, and the hash cannot be reversed into the code. It is not transmitted off the device.

What we don't do

• No accounts, sign-ins, or email collection
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs from third parties
• No advertising, ad identifiers, or tracking of any kind
• No selling or sharing of data — there is no data to sell

Deleting your data

PurePath includes a full data deletion option in Settings. Using it permanently erases all app data from your device. Deleting the app from your device has the same effect. Because we hold no copy, deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is nothing to request from us.

Children

PurePath is intended for adults and is not directed at children. The app is distributed under an age rating appropriate to its subject matter on the App Store.

Changes to this policy

If PurePath's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be clearly described in the app's release notes.
